"S" and "J" just got married!!! {Belvidere IL, Rockford IL, family, couple photography}

So I do have a few weddings coming up this summer which I am super excited for.  I have not photographed a wedding so far and I am very thankful for the couples who are giving me the opportunity to capture this very important day in their lives.  This session was a little bit of a practice run for the upcoming weddings.  "S" and "J" have been together for a few years now and decided to get married.  "S" contacted me couple of weeks ago and unfortunately due to a schedule conflict I was not able to photograph their entire ceremony but she still wanted  to capture some pictures of her and "J" and their beautiful family.  I was so happy she chose me to do that for her.  What a beautiful couple and she made a stunning bride.  We had so much fun during our session, they were so open minded and willing to go all over the get the shots and were up for anything.  My kind of couple.  Here are some of the shots from our session.  It was such a pleasure meeting you guys.  Congratulations and best of luck!!!

One year old "M" {Belvidere IL, Roscoe IL, family, child photography}

I photographed this little cutie last week.  I am finally done with her session so I can present it to her parents.  I am so happy "J" contacted me to purchase a session for "K" as a mother's day gift.  It was so nice meeting this sweet family.  "M" did an amazing job and was very cooperative throughout the whole session.  She is turning one and I hope I captured her personality during our time together.  Enjoy the sneak peeks!!

Spring beach session {Belvidere IL, Winnebago IL, child, family photography}

It has been a while since I posted on the blog but there is a good reason for it.  I have been busy with sessions, booking sessions, editing and all the fun stuff that goes into creating memories for families. It is at times overwhelming but I am so excited I am getting booked out, that is definitely a good sign :).  Here are quite a few previews from "N" and "C's" 4 and 3 year old pics.  I recently did their baby sisters one year old pictures and she of course joined us for some fun on the beach as well.  This was such a fun session, the boys had a lot of fun, they love the beach which is located within their neighborhood and it made the perfect setting for their pictures.  They were much happier there than at our previous indoor sessions.  I can't blame them, I enjoyed every bit of it.  Even though it is still kind of chilly outside we enjoyed dipping our feet in the water  or as far as the boys their feet and shorts (it was kind of my fault for getting it started but it was priceless to see them enjoy it, sorry "J" for getting them wet).  Here are the sneaks, hope you enjoy them.

4 month old little Ms. "Y" {Belvidere IL, Rockford IL, child, baby, milestone, baby girl photography}

I love being caught up on editing and being able to post pictures from yesterday.  Meet little Ms. "Y", I had the pleasure of capturing her 4 month pics.  She was such a happy girl for us but at the end of the session she definitely was worn out and ready for a nap.  She was pretty much up for anything at first, loved being on her belly, did not mind sitting in the basket.  There was a few times she was more interested in the basket and what was in it then in looking at me and her mom.  I really enjoyed our session and meeting Ms. "Y" and mom.  Thank you for choosing me to capture these wonderful memories for you.  Here is a few sneak peeks.

1 year cake smash star Mr. "C" {Belvidere IL, Rockford IL, child, 1st birthday, family, cake smash photography}

What fun did we have with Mr. "C" for his 1st birthday session.  I did his 9 month pics a few months ago and he was all smiles then and he was smiley this time around too but we also got to see some serious faces as well.  Mom brought along a few props that were used in "C's" big brother's 1st year pics and they worked out great.  We headed outside for some shots too, we had to battle a little bit of full sun but they turned out great.  Then there was the cake smash... So much fun, I always love that part.  Thank you Ali Smith Bakery for the awesome cake.  It tasted as good as it looks too.  Big brother "N" got to join in for some cake smash pics.
