Beautiful 3 month old baby "L" {Belvidere IL, Hampshire IL, baby photography}

This gorgeous little girl is a return client.  I had the pleasure to capture her as a newborn and it is so wonderful to get to see her grow and to be a part of capturing her milestones.  She has the most beautiful eyes and long eyelashes and was such a pleasure to work with.  This was a mini session to capture the 3 month milestone for her parents and that was just the right amount of time, by the end of the 30-45 minutes I spent with her she was pretty much done.  I hope I get to be a part of her upcoming milestones and get to capture some more wonderful images for her parents.  Enjoy your sneak peaks.

5 day old Ms. M {Belvidere IL, Chicago IL, newborn, child, family photographer}

I know I have neglected the blog a little lately but I am so happy to share this session.  Little Ms. M is so beautiful and looking at mom, dad and brother we know where it came from.  This was a first on location session I brought my friend along to assist me and let me tell you it was wonderful.  She did such a great job helping me pose "M" and helping me out with everything from start to finish.  It took the pressure off mom which was great so she can relax a little while we worked with the baby.  I knew we were going to have a great session from the time we entered the building.  Thank you so much "J" and "T" for inviting me to your home to capture these memories for you.  You have a beautiful home which made for a wonderful setting for the pictures and you were so great to work with.  I had a lot of fun.  Here are the previews and I hope you enjoy the pics.

So, I know it has been a while since i have posted any pics on here but I promise I have not been slacking off.  I am so happy to be able to share these pics with you guys.  I seem to get lucky in spurts with how cooperative my little models want to be. LOL.  I had a few babies that were very cooperative and kind of made me think this photography thing was easy.  But wait, my last 3 sessions have not be so easy.  Ms. M definitely put me and her momma to work.  We actually had to reschedule the session to the next day because she wanted nothing to do with me or my camera or even the cake.  Thanks to her wonderful mom we were able to continue next day.  Big sister "K" came along the next day and helped out so much.  She knows how to make her little sis smile and laugh.  I am so happy we got some great pics for mom to enjoy.  One of the pics will be featured on her birthday cake at the party.  How exciting is that.  If that is not pressure I don't know what is.  I love how the pics turned out and

14 day old baby "J" {Belvidere IL, Hoffman Estates IL, newborn, baby photography}

Finally finished up editing this wonderful session with 14 day old Mr. "J".  I don't know if it was the fact that he was already 2 weeks old (most of my newborns have been between 4 and 10 days) or if he just wanted to know what was going on, but Mr. "J" gave me a run for my money.  He did not want to go to sleep even though he had a full belly and was dry and warm, he did not want anything to do with being posed, each time we tried to lay him on his belly or tried to tuck his legs he would stretch out and try push himself up.  Very strong little guy.  The pictures turned out great, I had to think outside the box and just go with the flow and it forced me to shoot at different angles which worked out great.  I love the shots we got and hopefully mom and dad enjoy the pics.  Here is a little preview of of his session.
