Sweet Newborn Mr. "E" {Belvidere IL, Lake Zurich IL newborn, family photography}

This little guy is so handsome, how lucky am I to be working with all these babies lately.  My boys are getting so big so it is a great feeling to get to hold and photograph all these little guys.  Oh, it brings back so many memories.  It's a great way to get my baby fix this way :)  between photography and my other job as a medical assistant at a pediatrician office. At least with photography I don't get to be the bad one who has to give them shots.  Well enough about me and back to this sweet guy and his mom and dad.  It was such a pleasure meeting this family, mom and dad are such nice and great people and wonderful parents.  "E" did give us a little resistance at first but he got much better as the session went on, as long as mom was not too close because then he thought it was time to eat.  I do love how the pics with mom and dad turn out.  The family pic is definitely one of my all time favorites.  Such a wonderful   way to capture this beautiful time in their lives, both mom and dad were glowing and you can just see how proud they are to be parents and how they love their little guy.  Enjoy some sneaks from the session!!

"D" Family beach session {Belvidere IL, Chicago IL family, child photography}

I have been behind on editing, blogging etc for a while now.  It's a great feeling to know that I am staying super busy I just feel bad that all my clients are waiting longer than usual for their pictures to be done.  My hope is that they love the pics once they are done and that the wait was worth it.  "S" is one of my clients who has been waiting anxiously but patiently for her family pics.  I am all done editing this gorgeous beach family session.  The session itself turned out great but what a session it was.  We got to Chicago early in the morning to start our session by Lake Michigan thinking we were going to beat the traffic and the crowds but little did we know we ended up right in the middle of a marathon and we spent almost as much or more time looking for parking and walking to our destinations as we did shooting.  Thank you so much "D" family for being so patient and wonderful.  I had a lot of fun during the session and since my kids and hubby came along as well.  The kids had a great time swimming and having fun on the beach.  As you can tell from the pictures the "D" girls were definitely the happiest during their time in the water.  I definitely love beach sessions but wish we were a little closer to lake Michigan so I can do more of them there.  Here is a preview from our beach session. 

Baby "T" visits the studio {Belvidere IL, Rockford IL newborn, infant photography}

I had the pleasure of photographing yet another baby boy in my studio at the end of last month.  He was one of my older newborns at 23 days old but he was such a great model.  He stayed pretty much asleep throughout the whole session, did not mind being posed and still had the wonderful newborn curl to him.   Grandma "L" contacted me to schedule his session and also came along for the session, how wonderful is that.  Thank you "L" for your help during the session as well.  You can definitely see the love she not only has for her son but also her grandson.  I had a wonderful time during the session and it was a pleasure meeting this wonderful family.  I know you will cherish these for years to come.  Here is a quick sneak peek from the session.

"H" Family Session {Belvidere IL, Roscoe IL family, child photography}

I have known the "H" family for some time now and I was happy when "S" asked me to capture some family photos of her wonderful family.  It has been a little bit of a change as most of the families I photographed recently have had younger children.  I do have to say the sessions go much faster with older children as we don't spend as much time trying to gather and pose them.  We headed out to a local park on a beautiful Sunday morning and then proceeded to a more urban/downtown area to finish off the shoot.  My son and husband came along and since "A" and my son are only a couple years apart and they  had a blast together.  "M" is such a wonderful young lady who has a beautiful smile.  I had such a good time during our session.  Enjoy some previews!!

K & Z maternity session {Belvidere IL, DeKalb IL maternity photography}

I had so much fun with K&Z for their maternity session, they are such a sweet couple and so easy going and full of ideas.  Since I really enjoy the whole session planning process just as much as the session itself, I loved getting e-mails from K before the session with all the ideas she liked for her session.  She had some great ideas too, the baby will be born in the fall so she wanted to incorporate some fall elements into the session.  It turned out great because the day of the session the weather was quite cool outside and it was even misting a little bit.  I got scared thinking oh great it will rain and we will have to reschedule but K & Z were such troopers and were willing to wait for the rain to slow down and to continue despite the fact that it was still misting a little bit.  I cannot wait to meet their little baby boy next month.  We already have some cute ideas for his session.  Enjoy the sneaks from this gorgeous maternity session!!
